Begin with an Introductory Scuba Dive. See if you like it.
With Breezy Belle Adventures your introductory experience will consist of a short theory and pool session followed by a supervised dive. We therefore allow you to become familiar with the equipment and teach you the basics before exploring the Marine Park.
The dive is conducted from boat at the Marine Park, all under the watchful eye of an experienced instructor and Surface crew. We will then put to practice all of the skills you have learnt in the pool and show you around a unique dive site. Staying nice and shallow, no deeper than 12meters we will get to see all that there is to enjoy on our ocean introductory dive.
Expect to see many species of tropical and non-tropical marine life. Turtles, Leopard Sharks, Wobbegongs. you name it. This is a fantastic introduction to Scuba for those unsure of a complete course or those a little short on time.
Costs $160, All equipment and training included.
Get Your PADI Open Water Licence
The Open Water Course is your first step into the underwater world. On completion of this course you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver. This certification is internationally recognised so you will be able to dive anywhere in the world. Of over 100 diver training organisations worldwide, PADI trains more than 60% of the world's divers.
Learning to dive in Byron Bay gives you the opportunity to use one of Australia's top dives sites as your classroom! The training at Breezy Belle Adventures through Sundive Byron Bay provides new divers with the skills and confidence you need to go out and tackle any dive site. All of the open water dives are done from a boat, not from shore. Doing a back-roll into the ocean is much more exciting than flopping in from shore, right? Be ready to test your skills with turtles, sharks, rays, and big schools of fish surrounding you.
After you dry off from your days of diving, you can head out for food in one of the many fabulous restaurants in Byron or simply head back to the comfort of your Breezy Belle Tent and rest before your next activity on our listings.
